Chiaretto from Lake Garda stands out among Italian rosé wines for its fragrance and delicate bouquet. It is described in the literature as the "one night wine", since after pressing, the juice of the grapes of the four typical Lake Garda types linked to the Garda Classico D.O.C. denomination (Groppello, Marzemino, San Giovese and Barbera) is left to ferment with the skins for just a single night. The wine can be enjoyed with cold meats, risottoes and traditional Lake Garda dishes.
